In this section we share technical knowledge and engineering criteria related to plastic materials, manufacturing processes, and their application in real industrial environments. The objective is to provide useful information to support engineers, designers, and technical departments in decision-making, from material selection to the functional optimization of standard components. All content is based on our experience as a specialized manufacturer and distributor, with a practical, rigorous, and application-oriented approach.




Materials

This section presents a compilation of general and non-binding technical information about the main plastic materials we offer. The content includes a downloadable document with a material comparison, intended as an initial reference for selecting plastics depending on different applications. The information provided is for guidance purposes only and does not replace the specific analysis required for each case. Any warranty or liability on the part of ISC Plastic Parts is therefore excluded.

    Material

Colours

Numerous items in our catalogue are available in different colour variants. There are two options for applying colour to the parts, depending on the manufacturing material.

Dyeing: parts moulded from natural polyamide can be dyed by immersion in a RIT dye solution at 93°C. The resulting colour has a translucent tone that does not match RAL, Pantone or other standards. After the dyeing process, the moisture level of the polyamide increases from 0.5% to 3–4%, improving impact resistance and providing greater flexibility to the part.

RAL colours: in plastic materials other than polyamide, the colour must be incorporated during the moulding process. The result is a solid-coloured part compatible with the RAL colour chart. This option may involve a special production with price conditions, delivery times and minimum order quantities higher than those of the standard product.

For each item it is indicated whether the part can be supplied in colours different from the standard, either by dyeing or by manufacturing in RAL colour.
